They met through casual competitions and discovered that they both had one common language, MUSIC, which has kept them together for the past 8 years.

Together Elijah Danso, a final year Sociology student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and Charles Yeboah an aspiring National Film and Television Institute student came together to form the group ECHO.

Echo hails from one region in the Eastern part of Ghana.

They competed in the NESCAFE AFRICAN REVELATION 2006 as Nkenten, then a three man group. Victory eluded them but filled them with an undying desire to become champions one day.

Armed with determination, achievement was their only passion and for two years, they waited with patience to let Ghana feel the sound of Echo.

They were crowned the Ghana NESCAFE AFRICAN REVELATION 2008 winners on the 18th of January at the Kawu Kudi Park.

Echo has indeed been true to their favourite quote “The depth of your struggle determines the height of your success”!!!
